GILLIAN MARTIN SORENSEN, United Nations Foundation, Senior Advisor and National Advocate, will be speaking on “The US and the UN: What’s at Stake and Why It Matters”

Ms. Sorensen will speak for 25-30 minutes, followed by Q&A

Audience: 100 UCLA students from Roosevelt Institute, Bruin Republican, Bruin Democrats, Young Americans for Liberty, and Model UN (all co-sponsoring)

She served as assistant secretary-general for external relations on appointment by Secretary-General Kofi Annan.
